My mind is still in Santa Fe after our Thanksgiving trip. As a Texan, itt's so exciting to see snow on the ground. Another fun sketch in the sketchbook. This started with marker outlines, and then my son taught me how to incorporate the @prismacolor colorless blender to create bolder, smoother finishes with prismacolors. (I love trying new techniques!) After blending the pencil, I layered craft acrylics on top to create the "spores." This is the sketch that came out the other night when I was bone tired, after waking up way earlier than I needed to. Do you ever have a morning where wake up for no reason, and you just can't seem to roll over and get back to sleep? I've learned there is another name for this sort of artwork: "zentangle". Both neurographica and zentangle are meditative art methods, each with specific attributes and echniques behind them that I haven't learned yet. #zentangle #zentangling #neurographicart

Have you heard of neurographic art? I am new to it and have only watched a couple of YouTube videos.
