I love to paint shiny and metallic things because capturing the light and reflections is a challenge. This painting of aviator shades captures the shine, the class, the reflection, and the transparency of a great pair of shades.
This 5x7in gouache piece is unframed and includes a small unpainted margin where masking tape hold the paper while I painted.
