This large canvas sat blank for a long time while I waited for inspiration to strike, and finally it did - A bright, grand peacock painted with acrylic and dry brushes.
I started with a bright orange/red underlay and built layer upon layer, working my way to the foreground - a showy set of feathers and finally a twinkling sharp eye.
The edges of the canvas are painted. This can be hung unframed or you could frame it, depending on your preferences.
