Avocado Study - Original 9x9in. Oil Painting

This vibrant oil painting captures the simple beauty of a sliced avocado in a contemporary still-life style. This piece is one of my earliest works in oils, painted while studying under Alai Ganuza's contemporary oil painting course on Domestika. The piece is 9" x 9" overall, with an 8" x 8" painted area and a 0.5" margin on each side where the tape held the paper in place while I painted.
